Artist Point in Yellowstone National Park

The roads in most of Yellowstone will soon be closed. I visited Artist Point in the Canyon area yesterday morning. It was deserted, and amazingly beautiful.  With the sun being lower in the southern sky, the bottom of the canyon and the south side were shadowed, which allowed for patchy snow to remain.
